I just could not believe that it was already the eighth week of my practicum. On Monday, 2nd of November 2020, nothing much to do. I woke up and settled some things about my practicum, wrote my journal as usual, and stuff like that. No interesting stories to tell.

On Tuesday, 3rd of November 2020, I found a website that provided 5 sets of quizzes for all standards including Standard 4. I decided to send it in the WhatsApp group chat and asked them to complete it all. Some of the kids really asked if they did not understand, but some of them ghosted me... Yeah. I had been ghosted. I even texted them personally to do the works but they ended up bluetick-ed me. I guess that was one of the challenging to be an educator.

The next day, Wednesday, 4th of November 2020, I woke up as usual. I planned my day very well. Since yesterday I already gave the pupils with so many quizzes, I decided not to give any new work or quiz for them. It was better for them to complete all of the five quizzes rather than giving them work every day but they did not manage to finish all of it.

It was already Thursday, 5th of November 2020, I started my day by getting ready. On that day, I aimed to contact the pupils one by one and ask them if they needed any help with the homework that I gave. Some of them managed to submit their works on time, and some of them needed some time to complete it. In this pandemic situation, I understand if my pupils could not submit their works on time. I had to make a specific date line for them to submit their works and I think that would be easier for the parents to monitor their kids’ works. As the days go by, I noticed that the pupils were getting lazier to do their homework. I could not blame anyone on this matter because it actually depended on their surroundings. Parents, family members and older siblings had to pay more attention to these kids so that they would not left behind.

Finally, the last working day of the week, Friday, 6th of November 2020, it was just a like normal day, I worked from home due to the CMCO. There was nothing much to do on that day. I started my day as usual. Then, I assigned my 4 Gemilang pupils with a new task which was revision for Module 8: Amazing Animals. I decided to use Google Form since I already assigned them with a written task last Tuesday. In the task, they had to refresh their memories about comparison of adjectives. It was just a simple task. I did not put any date line since there were parents that work on weekdays.
