As expected, the Minister of Defense of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri
bin Yaakob announced that CMCO in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya will be
extended until 9th of November 2020. Schools and other institutions
were still closed. It was due to the rising COVID-19 cases in Klang Valley. On Monday,
26th of October 2020, I assigned the pupils to complete Module 4
revision by using Google Form as the platform. Google Form can be very useful
because it can show the score after answering the questions. Majority of the
pupils in my class managed to get full marks, and of course, with little
guidance.
On the next day, Tuesday, 27th of October 2020, SEKATA’s Head
of English Language Panel, Teacher Syauqi has prepared two sets of revision for
Year 4, revision for Module 5 & Module 6. I am so thankful that we can
share quizzes, Google Form, and other activities to give to the pupils during
this hard time. The pupils were asked to complete those two Google Forms as
their revision at home.
The next following day, Wednesday, 28th of October 2020, I
just did my practicum works such as planned my lessons for the following weeks,
completed my online journal, and many more. I did not give any task to the pupils
on that day.
On Thursday, 29th of October 2020, as I planned before, I
wanted to give the kids with some task in Workbook but sadly not all of them
have it. So, I decided to scan the activity and asked them to copy it in their
E1, exercise book. They were very creative as they were using so much colour
pencils with their works even though the task that I gave was just fill in the
blanks. The kids coloured the answers to make it look more exciting for them to
read, I guessed.
On Friday, 30th of October 2020, I just did like what I did
in 28th of November. I did not do much, just settled some things up
and planned lessons for the next following weeks.
